I'm building my new iron motor for NOS.

I'm doing a poll, All being the same motor.

How many bottles have you finished?

Wet or dry?

How much of a shot?

I have gone through maybe ten 15lb bottles since last spring. Sometimes a bottle would last a month, other times I would go through it in a day.

I used the NOS 5177 kit set for 150 hp. I sprayed a 200 for 3 passes, but ET didn't get better, mph just shot up.

I never really broke anything within the engine, and no strange noises at 40k miles. Once my valvecovers and oil pan started leaking oil, but I changed the gaskets and everything was fine. I have broken 1 transmission, 2 rearends, and a driveshaft. I change the oil every 3k and keep an eye on the plugs...other than that I just drive it.

 

I've gone through about 10 15lb bottles with absolutly no problems what so ever. The only problem i have NOS is that the extra horses are addicting i can never get enough of it <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

 

I have put 5 bottle through and I still can't decide whether I should have saved for heads and cam.
