Blew a fitting right off!!
Blew a fitting right off!! Woke me up quick. I fixed a leak at the solinoid by using liquid teflon. Hooked up the bottle, & when I turned on the bottle, the hose connector blew right off. So, either I had the bottle pressure too high, or I had a weak connecter?
Someone tell me if I have to get a new hose, or if I can get a standard high preasure fitting to put on there, like by Aeroquip.

Re: Blew a fitting right off!! Do not use a standard AN fitting. You want to use a hose end made specifically of high pressure hydralic systems - ie brake, power steering. I know Earl's and Russel both have the appropriate fittings, and I would assume Aeroquip does as well.

was this fitting on the feed hose to the motor??

Re: Blew a fitting right off!! Matt, I'm up north right now. I'll have to get ahold of you when I get back Mon. It is the main line, but I dont know if it is Teflon or not. What kind of fitting do you have? I ordered one, that is a high presure, but is usually used for brake lines. I thought about contacting Compucar on Mon & see what they reccomend. Are your window switches available yet? I see them listed on your site.
