Reason: the MSD window switch should not be used to handle the higher current loads like the ground wires for the solenoids. If those solenoids are current restricted by some circuits, they will "clip" and go on/off during usage. Kind of defeats the purpose of using a relay if you don't use it properly.
Relays are meant to work like a low-current sensing circuit that turns on a higher current switch. Put all the safety parameter equipment in line and on that low level relay sensing circuit. That way, all of the safety tests have to be working for the relay to flip the switch on and power the solenoids.
And, another thing, I never liked those Fuel Pressure safety switches. Sometimes they make the nitrous go off/on under pressure changes and make the car run worse. I always just ran with a window and a throttle switch, nothing else.
