the wet shot is not sprayed through the MAF but after the maf closer to the motor, and is pre-mix with fuel before leaving the jet. and that is where you get your fuel.
I feel a wet shot is more accurate A/F wise, you can tune your car for NA performance and leave it, and for nos you can also tune that via jettings. also a wet shot rely on your fuel pump, a dry shot relys on your fuel pump AND Injector limitations. hope I help clear some things up for ya.

Personally I think dry is the way to go for the shots most of us are running on a stock(ish) motor, but going beyond ~125 on the small injector cars is a bit risky.
