Default Juice question?

How would a dry shot work on my car? It is a NOS kit adjustable from 75-175 horses. How safe is the dry shot? Or would it be better to convert it to a wet shot and how easily is this done?

I have a stock 302 block with TFS everything, 3.73s, 5 spd.

Also, what is the difference between the dry and wet kit? How does the motor compensate for extra fuel needed...?

Default Re: Juice question?

Wet systems inject both nitrous and extra fuel into the intake stream. Dry systems put nitrous only into the intake stream, and rely on the computer to inject the required extra fuel through the fuel injectors. Dry systems are more effective than wet on modern computer controlled EFI cars. With a dry system, mount your nozzle as far from the throttle body as possible for maximum intake charge cooling. I'm not sure on the ford system for your car, but there may or may not be a computer interface. The LS1 dry kits rely on the computer reading the MAF and IAC sensors to figure out the extra fuel.
