Funny... I don't think that was the intended thiing for that drawing but that's funny none the less!!

As far as the wires for a NOS car does there need to be a difference? I've never heard of it, that's why I too am interested to find out if this is something I sould change on my car!

If your stock wires are in good shape they'll be fine. Unless your dealing with very high cylinder pressure, for example lots of nitrous or lots of boost the stock wires are more than adequet. If your not sure, look under the hood in the dark with the engine running and if you can see any arching then change them, after that you can take them off and check the resistance of each wire with an ohmmeter, not sure what the resistance of the factory wires are but if they are all consistant I would say they are fine, generally the lower the resistance of the wires, the better, this means that more voltage is getting to the plug instead of being dropped in the wire. I have a 87 Turbo Buick and when I rebuilt it I just had to have some fancy plug wires so I bought the magnecores, under the hood in the dark it looked like a lightning storm! When pulling the wires off 3 of the terminal pulled off the wires and stayed on the plugs, (used electrostatic grease on them too!). I went to Autozone on the recommendation of a friend and bought a set of MSR's for under $20. I tested the resistance of both sets of wires and the MSR's were about 1500 ohms and the magnecore's were 8000+ ohms! Maybe a bad set of wires but for $80 not taking the chance again! I went 11.43 @ 117 with my cheapie MSR plug wires and no arching under the hood. So they're not red! THEY WORK!! Just remember, because something cost's more doesn't mean its better. Test your wires and if they're fine spend the money on some bigger nitrous jets!!! LOL
