Default Cam question

I know for a car on nitrous with stock exhaust just a cat back it would be best to run a split duration cam. Would this be such a big deal if I added Mac's with ORP? I have two cams one is a 212-218 522-529 on a 114 the other is a 218-218 529-529 on a 114. looking for best power and only mild effects to the street manners. Any advise on if the 218-218 is as good or better then the 212-218 when running nitrous and headers. Car is an auto. What if I went to the 216-220 525-532 at 114 think it would work better then the 218-218 and I could still get the car to idle with a little work? I think split duration is the way to go on nitrous and forced induction cars. But will headers make up on the exhaust side enough not to need it? Just tring to plan to get a plan made for the car.

I'm running a comp cam 220/224 setup an .5somthin with a 114 duration. I think that's it??

Anyway no ill street effects?!? makes some nice power

I'm running a Hotcam. Stock head and manifolds. I'll be putting the kit on this weekend. I'll let you know how it feels! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Thing is with an auto I don't think you can run that big of a cam without giving old ED wright some of your money.
