Default spark plug?

Hello-please explain what cold plug is vs. OEM standard and why is a colder plug needed for NOS. My tuner removed timing from my motor b/c i mentioned i might install a nos kit but now i have idle issues sometimes and stalling????? Thanks

Read this link, pretty informative.

Basically a colder non-projected plug will reduce cylinder temp roughly 150 degrees per step colder. The less cylinder temp means less heat which hopefully means no detonation if combined with the proper timing and octane of fuel. There's alot more to it than that but as you read you will learn.

He probably just removed the timing globally which means he took timing out all across the rpm range and that's why it's running the way it is instead of removing timing only under WOT where the nitrous is going to be activated.
