Default Need help with TNT install ASAP !!!

Helping out my friend with his TNT install. All the main hardware is on and now its time to put the lid back on. He still has his stock elbow, however it doesnt seem to want to cooperate with going over the power ring, and is causing his MAF to rub onto the under-part of his airbox.

Did any of you have to cut the plastic elbow in order to make it fit ?? If not, would the fernco work with his power ring ?? <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

Also, where did you guys install your NX Pressure guage at ??

Thanks guys. <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Gauge - in spare tire well with bottle.

Intake Bellow - Depends on the car. I had to cut mine and take some plastic off of lower air box for MAF to clear. I also had to cut my MTI lid. I have a WS6, so the angle is huge on the MAF. My friend has a Z28 and he was able to put his on without any mods. I have heard people use Ferncos, cut bellows, and no modifications. There is so many factors to account for, just do what works and it will be fine.

Hope this helps.. Feel free to email me with ?'s

I also had to cut the plastic out under the MAF as well as cut back the lid, power ring, and trim the bellow before my lid would fit back on.

Cool guys.. thats the same thing we did as well.

As for the guage... he bought my old 5177 kit from NOS, then bought the conversion kit from TNT. He has my bottle which has a guage on it already, however, when he ordered his kit, he bought the NX warmer, opener, and pressure guage.

If we are to install the NX guage in the area of the drivers seat... where would we "T" the line at, and throw the guage in ?? He wants the guage in the ash-tray part, but we talked him outta that. Is there any other good places to install it in at ??
