Question about NOS and SLP headers

Default Question about NOS and SLP headers

I have a 99 Hawk with the NOS 5177 setup... Nothing special about the rest of the car.. I just got SLP Longtubes and planning on running race pipes with o2 simms..Will I have a problem with the NOS,simms and no cats????Will the car run lean? I don't want to blow anything up....

Im running a 150 wet, was running a 200 wet, with the SLP LTs, no cats, O2 sims, with the loudmouth exhaust. No problems here.

You need to run Autotap to see where your O2's are at WOT. Then we can go from there. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

I have had no problem W/100 shot no cats O2 SIMMS SLP LT if anything I have been rich. Just pulled my plugs and this was the case.

I have a 100 dry shot and the SLP setup you mentioned and I am running rich also. O2's are around 930 on bottle and up to 990 on motor.

The O2 simms just replace the post-cat sensors which are only used to monitor catalyst function. This pre-cat sensors are used by the PCM to monitor and adjust A/F ratio.
