Default VP113 and plug gap

Hey all. Need to pick some brains on using VP113. My goal is to be able to add timing back in (about 8 degrees) by using just VP113 in the fuel tank. I spoke to the guy at VP a few months ago when I went there inquiring some info and he was CONFIDENT that I could get away with adding all the timing back in if I were to run only VP113. The setup is a very mild heads/cam 355 LT1 (spraying about a 150-175 shot through a nitrous outlet plate and nitrogen assist). Any thoughts on this? Would like to eliminate using the MSD digital-6 all together. I suppose the only way to find out is give it a shot and read the plugs, but wanted some more input first before I do it. Also, what should I gap the plugs at for the setup? I was at about .036 last time IIRC but some people over on the bullet said to open it up a bit (maybe .038-.040). Need some more input. Thank you very much in advance!

Start by adding 2* back in until you see the mark before the bend on the strap.

^ Your setup is definitely way more radical than mine. I was sort of looking for opinions regarding my setup. I appreciate the input though. How did it like the VP113? I haven't tried it yet but am looking forward to messing with it a bit

^ I was just saying, you can run a couple degrees more on it. VP113 burns leaner, so you need more fuel jet as well.

I've been running it in this car and others since 2007. Only way i'd change is if I had a lot wilder motor or a bunch of nitrous. (2 kits). I ranit in a street car with cam/stall/150-200 hit and I ran 113 in the standalone tank for the nitrous, .28 plug gap and a "bunch" of timing (24 degrees) car ran 10.90s at 124 with no special parts, ls1 intake, stock gear, 2800 stall, small cam.

Plus its basically the same price as vp110.

Gotcha, I appreciate the input! What I am trying to do is shy away from relying on the MSD digital-6 I have that pulls my timing. Would make things much less complicated. The tune itself has plenty of timing in it and I am running rather large fuel jets (recommended when using a push system). I suppose all it takes is some testing and plug checking. I will start by adding in 2-3* and go from there. Thank you once again!
