Preliminary Dyno on the TNT 150 shot
Preliminary Dyno on the TNT 150 shot I made a couple of pulls today on motor and the TNT 150 shot. My car is running very fat I suspect I have a bad O2...Anyway it pulled 310rwhp on motor and 415rwhp on the 150 shot. The car became extremely rich and blew black smoke from 4500 to 6000 rpms and I noticed a significant drop off on the dyno. It seems My NOS bottle opener is bad or I have a plugged N2O filter also. The car trapped 119mph on the 100 pills so I don't think I gained anything on the 150 pills. Anyone seen a similar problem with an NOS brand bottle opener??? Oh I forgot to add I have an inline pump and fuel pressure stayed at 55psi throughout the run.

FWIW: I ditched my NOS bottle opener - the opener "solenoid" was a restriction blocking the N20 line flow....
Take the line and fitting off and take a look at the opener in the open position. If its anything line mine, you will notice that the Out side only opens about 3/4's of the way....

Re: Preliminary Dyno on the TNT 150 shot like FRPtech says check that opener. and remember its only as good as its weakest link. So the more add ons you put in the more chance of error.

Re: Preliminary Dyno on the TNT 150 shot Well i looked at the opener, took it apart and determined how it functions. It has a "control" solenoid which is very small but the actual flow plunger is large, larger than a 4AN line Id so this is not the restriction. I also blew through the N2O filter which seemed hard and this may be the culprit. Thanks for the input.
