Default All NOS Remote Valve Openers in here

Ok, I e-mailed NOSTech and they said that they're remote valve opener can support 250 HP shot, so I'm in the good.

I wanna make sure all looks well on my port and line side of my opener.
Look at these pics and tell me if this is how your looks.

Also, if I have the opener like this at my desk and cycle the solenoids via a battery source nothing opens or close in the orifice shown but NOStech said that it only opens/closes when it's connected to an open bottle, hence high pressure drives it open and closing. Any info is greatly appreciated. Is this the case? Thanks.

That's exactly how mine looks. I have taken the solenoid apart and yes it actually has two plungers. One plunger actuates and sends bottle pressure to open up the big flow plunger...The top of which you see on the bottle side of the unit. I am having some trouble with thier claim of 250 hp flow though? On the dyno with the TNT 150 shot I seemed to run short on N2O flow and I'm wondering if the bottle opener was the culprit, though mine is well worn. The rebuild kit part numbers are: upper is a 16001 and the bottom is a 16690

Thanks for your post and part #'s. Will yours open/close if you have it unattached to the system, i.e. sitting on your desk and applying power could you see the plungers moving? All I get are a click for open and a click for close.

So when the actuator allows the valve to open the pressure from the nitrous line pushes up that large metal plunger on the bottle side so that the orifice inside matches the diameter of the screw in fittings (the -4AN x 1/4" NPT)? Thanks.

No it will not actuate without bottle pressure available to push the large plunger down. The click you hear is the upper small plunger opening. When this small electrically actuated plunger moves up it sends bottle pressure to another part of the valve which pushes down the large plunger on the bottle side and opens it up. Take it apart it's not difficult. Just make sure you take it off the bottle first. Screw the coil off the top and you'll see the small plunger assembly, careful not to lose the spring. The large bolt on the bottom of the unit will expose the large plunger assembly, again carefull with this spring also.
