it comes in a metal barrel But those race jugs are fine to keep race gas in Does it smell like old gas??? Most shops keep barrels till theyre sold & that takes awhile at some places Try to find a high volume dealer & if the race fuel was mine Id prolly get a new jug & mix the old stuff Then you can go burn it off Just dont get a ticket LoL Or if its not much put it in somethin like a motor cycle & go play Regular gas starts to go to **** after 30 days but its been 5 + yrs since I had to worry about race gas Im sure others more knowlegable will chime in

I know that last year I had a 5 gallon jug of fuel sitting in the back of the shop that I pored in the race car. The car ran really bad and when I drained the fuel out it was full of water. I do not know if the fuel had water in it from the race track i bought it at or if the plastic fuel jug built up condensation in it.

That makes sense with the UV rays.
Same thing with beer. SG goes to **** when light is allowed to penetrate into the bottle and it goes sour.
Fuel is blended to a specific SG so I can see where the two go together.
I just got 5 gallons of 110 in a 5 gallon gas container. I will probably use the other half this Saturday. I'm guessing it being in there for 4 days isn't going to ruin it?
