Default TNT kit problem.... again... solenoid related, also paging James (TNT)

Ive been having trouble dynoing my 200 wet shot TNT kit and my 150 feels like it falls short. I was just outside testing my wiring and connections and everything. I took the wire from the relay to both the solenoids (hot) and ran a lead wire to the battery so I could do some voltage tests. In my litte tests, I discovered something. The N2O noid is so hot I cant even touch it ( it burnt me ), but the fuel noid is barely warm. I know they will make some heat when held open for a long period of time, but this is a little much, no? Maybe the N2O noid has a short inside the coils? Anyone have an idea. This is getting very aggrivating. This thing never works more than a week right*sigh*

Also, James (TNT), Ive tried to call you 4 times in the past days and cant get a hold of you.

Heres my other thread in question:

Thats what Im thinking. They replaced my fuel noids once. Any ideas of what a N2O noid from them would cost?

Country,
Im extremely busy at work with the race season coming on and all,but Im never to busy to help my customers who need me. Just because you dont talk directly to me doasnt mean that you wont have me helping you. Anytime you or anyone else has any issue with a kit or part Im an email away or tell one of my guys answering the phones at the shop your issue and 9 times out of 10 they will put you on hold and find out the appropriate answer if they dont already know. Your problem sounds to me as if the coil was a defect. Call me tommorrow and I'll or one of the guys will take care of you. Sorry for the delayed response but Ive been suffering from walking Newmonia so Ive been trying to get my rest when Im at home. Happy Nitrousing

how long was the noid energixed for, The N20 noids in general draw a lot of current, has to hold a powerful spring up, i have burned out a noid when the noid was energixed for 20 seconds with no N20 flowing through to cool it off, im not sure if the n20 is needed, but based off my electrical background, and knowing its a high current device, if you keep them energized, they will get hot.

Ryan.

I think we all have our opinions, and personally if I was going to go back to nitrous I would go with TNT, I personally had one of there kits and loved it, so go play with your NX kit and get beat by one that is equal or better boy, the customer service is excellent and they will help you out always, so I vote for TNT, not trying to start anything but dam I hate it when I see people come in and start crap, I will be going direct port next time around which won't be long

This guy is pathetic...

If your not going to contribute in a mature way, why not go else where? I'm sure you could troll on one of the 10,000+ other boards!

You might want to check your relay also. I have seen this happen with a bad one.

I only held it open for a few seconds the first time it was extremely hot. Not enough time to do anything.

On the relay, the both run off the same terminal on the relay and the fuel noid is barely warm.

I got a hold of James today and he is sending me a new coil for my solenoid for free of charge. He said that this is the 2nd time in 5 years. Good record in my opinion. Hey, **** happens.

in reguards to "I should have gotten the NX" Where are they at to help anyone? Where is their customer service? How come noone brags about their NX kit numbers? Wheres their sponsorship here?

As to "what about NX" there are dealers on here like myself that answer plenty of questions about NX and give plenty of Tech help. Don't knock it until you try it.

The reason NX isn't on here is becuase they are not retailers. They sell only to distributors. Much better setup for the consumer IMHO.

Just my .02

As for the bragging part who needs to brag? Bring your TnT kit up here and lets go
