Highest shot LS1 will handle???
Just curious as to what the general consensus is that a stock LS1 can handle. Also keep in mind that mine is a '98 which has bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump than newer LS1's. Without ANY problems I'll add.

Anything over a 100 shot get a fuel pump and run higher octane fuel.Your car will last longer that way.No one really knows how much the block can take but I will tell detonation will kill the car.
With a lid, gms maf, and a cut-out, i had a friend that ran a 150 dry all day on his 98' Formula. Three rotating assemblies later and a brand new long block to go with it, he traded it in for his 2002 T/A, which might i add, has the same kit on it and mods listed above.

How many times do I have to tell you. It was the oil pump that killed my motor. The N20 probably helped the motor though. Yes, I ran a 150 dry kit all day long for over 2 years. N20 is great.
