I was told a twin walbro 255lph set up is good for 1000hp , so half that would be 500hp. My 396 ltx build will be 600hp on the motor & 2 stages of nitrous Im doin twins. They do have a walbro 400lph But not many people have used it from what I hear. A 400 with a hotwire kit might be your ticket 
Lonny told me Never run that pump on the stock wiring because the connectors on our 4th gen F-bodies wont handle it!!! Hope this helps.
