TNT power ring not fitting right?

TNT power ring not fitting right? I got this thing on my TB and I have hammered the **** out of it but the TB still won't slide through the oring inside the power ring. How did all of you get this darn thing on there so there was no gap between the machined edge inside the power ring and the TB?

Re: TNT power ring not fitting right? If you don't want to do that, try heating up the power-ring with a blow dryer(thermal expansion) and lubricating the O-ring.
Getting mine off my be harder than putting it on! Maybe Slowhawk has the best solution. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

I never thought of the heat thing.But it might be a bitch to get off.

Re: TNT power ring not fitting right? Mine was a pain in the ***. I had to grind down the throttle body, shave a little off of the O-Ring, lube the O-Ring and then it fit. I was quite mad how hard it was to make this thing fit and now my lid still will not fit right. <img src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" border="0">
