Issues with nitrous system.

Issues with nitrous system. This may sound stupid, so bear with me here. I'm a newbie to nitrous. (Kit was installed by MTI and I've only even sprayed 2 or three times)
When I open my bottle (with the remote opener), and arm my system (TNT f2 wet kit), my nitrous bottle guage in the cabin stays at 0psi.
I'm thinking one of two things, either my bottle is completely empty, or the remote opener isn't functioning.
Here's the question, I would have left the bottle valve open, and accidently left the remote opener open, could all of the gas have "leaked" out?

Yes, it could have leaked completely out.
I assume this is an NOS type opener? Do you hear the opener activate? Put your hand on it and have someone flip the switch. Feel it click?

I guess it's time to wire in an LED so I know when the bottle is open.
