Custom Tuning for N/A and Nitrous Performance
Hello All,
I would like to get the best N/A performace from my setup via custom tuning from Ed Wright but I would also like to spray a 200 wet shot from time to time. Can I get the best of both worlds? I have a MAFT so I was hoping I could use that on top of the custom PCM tuned for N/A performace to get it ready for nitrous but otherwise roll around N/A. What I am afraid of is that if I tell Fastchips to tune for a 200 shot they'll remove a lot of timing and I'll wind up suffering N/A 99% of the time. Any suggestions/input would be appreciated.

Overwhelming response! Really, stop with all the info It looks like there will be a controller from Ramchargers that will allow me to pull timing and run the 200+ shot I want to and still have maximum N/A performance around town. I was just wondering about this the other day. Got any info about this controller? I have run a 200 shot for time to time, but wouldnt recommend it.
The info I got off of that 'other ls1 board' stated that Ramchargers was testing the controller and would be offering it 'soon'. No quote on price though

O.K. I have a cam only car with a TNT S2. Ed wright did the tunning for the motor and with pump gas and a 100 shot I had problems. Reason being 31* of timing. Run 29* and keep it a little rich on motor, I lost 5-10rwp. No big deal since I got 280lb of extra torque. With the N2O run strait 100oct. I spent 2 hours on a dyno with a wide band and ls1 edit. Hope this helps.
