Who's building a motor for nitrous only racing?
Who is building (or has built) a motor with the intent off racing it on nitrous all of the time?
I'm not talking about having a Sneaky Pete or just for a booster on the streets, but for the intent of racing on the juice all of the time. What have you done to the motor? Cam, heads, nitrous kit?
Lunati cam 221/224 .558 .560 @ 114
P&P heads
Ferrea Competition Plus Valves
CC 941 Springs
CC Hardened Chrome-Molly Pushrods
NX 50-150 Wet Kit
Bottom end pistons, rods next winter.

I am having ARE build me a motor for all out nitrous performance. It is an iron block 422 with stage 3+ heads, 242/242 .600" cam. It should run ok on motor but it is being but for a big shot of nitrous.
I had an NOS motor built by ARE. It was purpose built from bottom up with Nos in mind. Ross nitrous pistons, Lunati rods, Custom Nos cam, exhuast ported a little more, LQ4 iron block, ARP head studs, Stock crank offset ground and heat treated. 383 CI.
Nick said on motor I would be on the low side but his exact words were "On the bottle it will be a monster". He was correct. With jets for a 140 shot dry the motor pushed out 623 rwhp and 730 rwtq. I plan to hit it with a 200 shot after the rest of the car is up to par with the motor. Nick initially said 300 shot...but I would probably kill myself. Oh yeah...those where through the MAC headers. I have the Hookers on the floor...cant wait to see what I pick up with those.
