ANSWER THIS?
I'm thinking of mix-n-matching NOS and NX parts..how well will this work..(i.e., NOS bottle valve and lines and NX gauge & blow down?
Also what size line does a NOS 5177 come with
4-An or 6-AN?
Can I run NOS "dry" 5177 with O2 simulators and off road pipes (which = no O2 sensors)?
Here's the Master Plan, heh heh
> 15lb NOS bottle
> NX guage, NX heater, NX FPSS, NX blow down, NX purge, NX N2Osolenoid
> MAFT, NGK TR6, MSD window switch
Still doing homework...but I think this set up will work, PLEASE let me know if it won't!
BIG RAM 1 = RED 2001 WS6
>HPP III, K&N, Mac headers & offroad Y-pipe & 10 bolt girdle cover, O2 simulators, Raven muffler, Ls1 Air Lid
THINGS I ALREADY KNOW:
> change HPP III back to stock timing before using N2O
> use NGK TR6 Plugs
> I don't want an Electric Bottle Opener, the bottle is going in the back seat, so I can give her the old reach around
> I know NX N2O solenoid is more reliable than NOS
> I am way too broke to love N2O this much! Thank You for any advice.

wow alot of questions I will do my best with them
you can mix and match parts to your liking
the NOS 5177 kit comes with a 4 AN line
Yes you can run the 5177 kit with off-road and SIMMS
the only problem you may run across...I say may cause I have never actually used exactly all these parts in combo like you. well that problem is if certain parts like the solenoid, etc are not the same size as the line you are mating it with. you just need an AN fitting to make it work then. You can probably aleviate all this when you are shopping for parts with finding out the IN/OUT sizes of the solenoid and exactly what lines you are gonna use, etc.
if anything you may be short a fitting or 2 to make it all work but it will go together easy.
Hope this helps and good luck...post if you have any more questions
