Default Inline pump.........Will it be enough?

Lets say you have a 98 bolt on LS1 making around 345-350 rwhp, and then you spray a 150 wet shot. Would an inline pump + the better 98 pump be enough to feel safe about it? TIA

Josh

On a wet kit yes it will be enough.Plus to be even more on the safe side run 100 octane whenever you spray.

I'm not taking any chances. I'll be putting in a 255 Walbro in tank just to run a 100-150 wet shot. I was told that it is a easier install on the '98s.

Are you sure about the 98's being easier? I thought I heard that on the 98's you had to pretty much drop the whole rearend to get the tank out enough to change the intank. Ya, I would say the 98 pump and an inline would be enough to handle a 150 shot. I had a 2000 with a cam and all bolt on's with just an inline and it lasted for a long time with it never doing anything bad to the engine.

a wet kit is a wet kit....they all will be about the same as in fuel. I would say you are going to be safe....hell I pulled 535 RWHP and 624 RWTQ one time with just the stock 2000 intank.
