Default Newbie to Nitrous, have lotsa questions!

ok, I have finally decided to take the plunge and go nitrous! I, like stated in the title of the post, have no experience with nitrous and don't want to blow the motor up.
I want to know whats the safest and most efficient kits available for LS1's. Will the cam I am currently running be compatible with nitrous? What is the biggest shot I could safely do consistently AT THE TRACK! ...maybe on the street a few times
What would you guys think I could run(ET/mph) aswell with my mods and the kit you suggest. Thanks,
Rick

I would go with either the TNT or NOS dry kit. you can pill it up all the way on the NOS kit. although watch autotap to make sure you have enuff fuel. if not injectors and pump may need upgrading

should be able to run 125-150 all day at the track safely

Start by understanding what it is and what it isn't, and how it works to increase HP. Dry or direct-port wet is the way to go IMO. Don't skimp on the initial investment, get a fuel pressure safety switch, window switch and a heater. Consider a fuel pressure gauge and an A/F gauge in addition to your nitrous gauge. Find someone (or buy yourself) a monitoring program like AutoTap, EFILive, etc. when your making your first runs and when upping your jet sizes to get a higher resolution look at your A/F ratios.
