Re: NOS vs. Edelbrock bottle heaters... as long as they are the same wattage, they will perform the same, the nos and edelbrack are both temp controled, not pressure controled, so no real differnece in performance.
I would just get the cheapest heater pad you can find.

Re: NOS vs. Edelbrock bottle heaters... I've got the NOS one, but as soon as this damn snow melts I'm hooking it up and bypassing the Heat Sensors.
I got my digital nitrous pressure gauge, so I'll just watch that to make sure the bottle isn't too hot (too much pressure) and control the heating manually

Re: NOS vs. Edelbrock bottle heaters... hey horist, that's what i did in my z when i had the TNT wet kit. decided to do that at the byron shootout cause the connection was bad so i just bypassed it. works a lot better that way. the heater could never heat it up fast enough or to enough pressure anyways. i had the bottles mounted in the rear seat so i could read the gauges there. helped a great deal.
