They are fairly accurate.
The most accurate are ones that read and display the voltage.
Here is one

I was looking thru the summit magazine yesterday and came across a digital air/fuel gauge that lets you know if your are running lean or rich. Has anyone ever used one? Are they reliable, and how hard are they to install? It looks like a good thing to have. Just curious if it actually works...Thanks..Michael
Thanks Slowhawk that is excatly what I am looking for. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> you are da man.....Thanks again..Michael
its kinda hard reading the air/fuel gauge from summit but it does do that job... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I see the A/F meter from speedshop uses the stock O2 sensors. I was told that the stock O2 sensors would not provide accurate information. Should I cancel my visit to the dyno shop with the wideband A/F testor, and purchase this meter instead?

A dyno is always a good idea. The digital gauge gives the voltage exactly like the #'s you get with A-tap.
I would go to the dyno with the gauge installed and compare the readings. That way you know what voltage gives the power you want.
