Default Is a 100HP shot the same even with different cams?

I'm wondering if I put on a 100HP (dry) kit with a stock cam... say I actually dyno a 100HP increase.

Now if I were to install a T1 cam or equiv., would I still get a 100HP increase on the dyno... or would it be higher?

Some cams are better than others for use with nitrous. You will defiately see gains with a good nitrous cam.
My own personal experiance: I had a stock bottom end with a mild heads and cam package and a 140 shot. I usually saw a 100 hp gain on the dyno with that over the NA setup.
New motor was built by ARE and has a monster nitrous cam 539/585 230/246 with a 114lsa.
With the exact same 140 shot i see gains of almost 180 hp over NA HP. Some of that is due to "giving up" some HP NA wise since the motor is setup with Nitrous in mind but overall the engine operates much more efficiently with this cam.
Initial dyno #s were:
NA...422 rwhp
Nitrous....611

Now if the Motor/cam combo was maximised for NA tune I would expect to run around 450 NA and probably gain an honest 140 from the juice for a total of 590hp. Thats just a generalization but you get the idea.

The kits are ussualy rated for a stock motor.

My TNT wet 75 shot made 80hp on moter with lid and exhaust.
With longtubes it made 100hp.

So with a cam you should be putting down more hp than the kit says.

Hey Biochem the nice thing about n2o is that it puts more oxygen and fuel in to the combustion chamber without increasing the actual air intake (same throttle body, intake, heads, cam, valves and rocker ratio). But now that you have more air and fuel you in turn have more exhaust so the best compliment to n2o is bigger exhaust and that includes a cam.Just tring to help. Rich
