Default Who is using a Harlan window switch? Question on install

I’m hoping someone can help me. I got a window switch from Harlan and installed it yesterday but don’t know if I have it installed correctly.

Before the window, I had a toggle switch that would arm the N20 system. At WOT a switch to activate the solenoids. Upon installing the switch I removed the arming switch that was used and using the white output wire from the WS (Didn’t test but my guess is the white wire puts out 12v when in my RPM window 3k-5800).. If this does put out 12v it should arm the system when in my RPM window (so I think).

The reason for doing it this way is Harlan’s instructions say to run it to a relay or it will pull too much power and burn it up (If I am reading correctly, but then again I make mistakes like the rest of us)..

My main question is where did you run your white wire to? Any help would be great..

NOS 5177 kit

Tested the WS settings
Set Cyl to 4 (Hold both buttons, flashed 4 times)
ON = 3k (tested w/ first button, flashed three times paused real quick and did 2 real quick)
Off = 5800 (second button, flashed 5 times paused then another 8)

And yes, you should run a relay with the window switch. Don't try to ground the noids with the window switch directly.

You will let the smoke out of it if you do <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I got my window switch and shiftlight in about 5 working days. Good stuff, wish I had that talent.
