another iat resistor question

Ive been searching around and haven't had much luck finding an answer for my question:

regarding the resistor, I could only find a 1000 ohm and a 680 ohm resistor. Is there any reason either of these would/wouldn't work? It seems than most diagrams show a 750 ohm resistor... any input would be greatly appreciated.

If I had an LS car id get the Lingenfelter box Takes all the guess work out But if you must build your own theres a how to on here

There are a few how tos on here that I've seen. I understand how to hook everything up, my question is just about the resistors.

If you need 2 to add up to the total resistance thats fine From what I read on the newest how to box Its on this page Or atleast it was yesterday Ive got an LTx so I had to buy a lot of MSD stuff & a Trick Perf dual stage window switch I dunno how to post pics or links Guess my 40yr old *** needs a computer course lol
