nitrous for procharged lsx?

Default nitrous for procharged lsx?

currently swapping a forged ls1 into my 79 vette, and i will be topping it off with a F1 procharger, aiming for 600+rwhp. is there a nitrous system i can fit for a small shot (no more than a 50 shot) that will work with the procharged setup? would not be spraying all the time would only be spraying on a rematch when the previous run was close.

Most systems can do that low of a shot. I know that our plates and nozzles will do 50 hp. Just remember that that 50hp jetting will add close to 100hp with a supercharger

An F series procharger for 600rwhp? I would think a D1SC would work better?

well 600 at the minimum, more will be welcome of course.


so how would it be better to spray? dry, wet or direct? im thinking right before the TB would prob be best right?

no reason to go direct and 50 jetting. A plate or nozzle should be great for the amount of nitrous. Wet most likely will be easier. You have to take into account that with the dry you are going to possibly need more injector so wet might be a little easier and cheaper to do.

so just any basic (quality of course) wet kit will do it? no special mods to be done? what about tuning should there be a special tune or just the supercharge tune ill be getting and it will be fine to spray every now and then

With just a 100hp shot you may just be able to add race gas such as C-16 or VP N2O and spray the shot without pulling any timing.

If you don't want to mess with adding some race gas you will need to pull 2-4* timing most likely 2-3*.

Our single nozzle systems and plate systems will jet down as low as 35 hp.

Plan on pulling timing. And if you start upping the jet odds are you will need to go to a colder plug etc.

Something as simple as our Brand X single nozzle system would keep the price down and provide all the power you need with out sacrificing quality.

To do it right you will need to plan on purchasing the needed accessories and safety items as well. Plan to spend between 800-1000 dollars.
