A4 and nitrous

A4 and nitrous I am thinking about adding 150shot of NX wet to my 98 Z28 aith an A4 and 3.23 gears. I also want a 3500- 4000 stall and trans cooler. Will the A4 hold up, or am I gonna be standed at the track? Othere then that car is stock.

Re: A4 and nitrous I ran a 125hp dry kit last year with the tci street fighter converter about 3200 on the high side. I didn't use a window switch and didn't have any problems (knock on wood). It went 1.60 in 60ft with a little wheel hop in a 3900# convertable. If I were you I would use a window switch will help save the trans for awhile.

Also the Nitrous will flash your converter higher than going Natural,So take that into account.

if you run the window switch, it'll save tranny life a bit by not spraying through the shifts like mentioned above. i used a window switch, set at 3000 on and 6200 off. good luck man, and the vig3200 has proven to be a pretty good nitrous/NA converter. otherwise if you plan on spraying a lot, you might looking into a Yank PYE3400 or PYE3600
