Default IAT sensor and timing w/Nitrous

Alright,
If you have the IAT in the original position (in the lid), and you shoot nitrous into it, wouldn't that give the sensor an extremely cold indication and advance timing? If this is the case wouldn't you be more prone to detonation? Would I be better off with the sensor in a different location? Also, I have a descreened, home ported maf, will it work? I have a NOS 5177 kit coming in the next day or two. I plan to change plugs, autotap and tweak with a MAFT before spraying. Anything else I should be aware of?

It's a 98Z and I would like to work up to a 100 shot. Thanks
