Window switch, and switched 12v source?

When it says to hook the red up to a 12v "switched" source, does that mean I have to run a switch from the battery for instance to a switch and then to the window switch, meaning I would have to turn it on seperate from the regular arming switch every time I want to use the n2o? I have the nos 5177 dry kit, and this is on a C5.
Thanks,
Adam

Asked the same question to Paul at Thunder Racing. Said the same thing, hook it up to the switch. Reason: you will not need the window switch unless you are running the system, and this way it will give your windown switch a longer life - will not be on needlessly.

My TNT instructions said to hook the power wire from the arming switch to the fuse box, so which section in the fuse box did you all install the wire that goes to the arming switch? I used the empty strtr space and it seems to work. Is this right or what?

The 12v switched source is any power source that automatically turns on when the car is started. Do not run the wire to the cigarret lighter because you will burn up the wire. That power source is on all the time.
