Default TNT power ring problems

I have a 01 ws6 trans am and I am installing the TNT power ring nitrous kit on my car and it doesn't look like the bellow will fit in there. My MAF is touching the power ring. Anyone have any ideas for me? I'd like to get this finished so I can spray this thing

I will see if I have a pic of my old set up 5 years ago. I ran this kit back in the day

<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm112/JSFORGED408/?action=view&amp;current=100_0356.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm112/JSFORGED408/100_0356.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I just rembered I got rid of the power ring and used the back side of the maf and drilled and tapped the nozzles for that. because it wont fit. see pic. works awesome

I'm not really wanting to drill into my maf housing but that is deff a good idea and I might have to do that. Do u know if you can trim some of the bellows or the air lid to get it to fit?

Yes you can trim it. I had that problem that you did expect 5 years ago lol. if you take the maf apart just drill and tap the back half on the motor side and makes it look clean its easy. I dont rember if I got mine to fit worth a crap. the power ring put it at a weird angle.

also I had the ram air box that was open as you seen in the pic there wasnt enough room. I would just measure yours today and see if you can cut your air box and cut your bellow.

It seemed like i would have to trim a lot off of the lid and the bellow to get it to work. And ya the power ring really made it a tight fit but if I decide to go with a plate in the end then I would have to get a different maf or block it off I guess but I'm not sure how much I'd have to trim that to get it to eork

Well I got it to work with the power ring its a tight fit but everything works. Now I'm just having trouble with the wot switch and it not wanting to ride on the throttle blade correctly. Did any of u guys have to play with the adjustment on it to get it to work?

Yes I had to bend the throttle. Switch to make it work.right and use washers was a pain. That's why now I have a most mini controller that has Toshiba signal lol

Ya I noticed that for the noid bracket to go on the passenger side of the throttle bracket it would have to be trimmed. I played with the adjustment for the wot switch and got it to where it comes on just b4 wot now just for all the wiring

I've been told by many people to use the NGK TR6 spark plugs for a 150 shot does any one else agree? Also are they not platinum or iridium? If not is there an advantage or disadvantage to that?
