Bending pushrods in an A4
Bending pushrods in an A4 I have a friend who keeps bending pushrods when he uses his nitrous kit. It is an A4 and he has his shift points lowered 2mph with his Hypertech. I haven't seen him do it first hand because I work nights and don't see much of the track. Have any of you had that problem? The only thing I can think of is that his car isn't shifting fast enogh to keep the motor from spinning so high. It is a NOS kit with the 100hp jets i believe. Any help would be nice. Thanks
Re: Bending pushrods in an A4 I bent mine by getting against the rev limiter on motor. I only hit it lightly 10-12 times. Not really sure why they bend, other than they go into valve float at that high rpm, and that they're weak as hell.
