I know that the NGK TR-6's are better, But is it ok to use the TR-55 plugs? Im spraying a 50 shot dry on a 2001 TA.

If you closed tha gap up to say... .045 and never went higher than a 50 shot..youd probably be ok. But the TR-55 is not to be used with any significant amount of nitrous. The electrode protrudes too far into the combustion area and will become red hot acting like a glow plug and inducing preignition. I should know...I used to melt the electrodes off all the time...Doh! Ive probably got 40-50 plugs in the corner of the garage that have the electrodes melted away from experimenting with the old motor. Lets just say.....I stay conservative now. The extra power or the smoother idle NA is not wrth the risk of damage on nitrous.

Agree, go much higher than that and you really should go with TR-6s or the like. TR-6s idle GREAT gapped at ~.037.
