Default nitrous W/O timing pulled

i know that the octane rating of the fuel that we put in our cars has as much to do with preventing detonation as having the right timing. i know kinda how timing works but i dont have a clue about fuel. i know 91 is harder to burn than 87 so it helps prevent detonation. higher rating does not mean more power but that you can advance the timing a little more. that is all i know. so help me out some here plz

i know they say that you need about 2 degrees pulled for every 50 shot you spray ...

i have a wet kit on my car

if i run straight 101 gas in the car's tank would i be fine with a 50 shot and no timing pulled out of the tune?

what about 75 shot?

this would (have not tried it) be only straight 101 in tank or maybe the proper mix of 101 and 93 what ever that may be

Just make shore that 101 is unleaded , if the raceing fuel is leaded your O2 sensors will be fried

Yes that would be more than safe along with a colder plug.

No need to go drastic with such a small shot.
