i am just thinking of spraying the car right now. i have heard that someone sprayed a hotcam car and got outragious results but those were with a TNT (highly underrated system). is the hotcam a GOOD nitrous cam or is the TNT kits making that much power?

i am really thinking of going wet NX kit 100 shot and using the 150 fuel side since my A/F ratio is a bit lean averaging from 14.1 (at 3500 rpms) - 12.6 at 6600 rpms. also i would not be afraid to run race gas. detonation is not good.

also has NX come out with the plate system shoting behind their MAF sensor or is it just a regulor plate before the TB? thanks for the answers all! i am making 365 RWHP through the 12 bolt right now.

 

Yes, the hotcam kicksass for nitrous! IMO, it almost makes TOO much power for a stock short-block.

 

NX's new system is actually a set of MAF ends that are plumbed to the kit and spray the fuel and nitrous behind the sensor.

Your ported MAF ends you have now could be causing your lean condition, I would suggest getting a MAFT and ATAP to make sure the car is running ok on the juice.

The hotcam is a good nitrous cam because of the split pattern favoring the exhaust side. It would be really nice on a 114 LSA though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
