Default window switch wiring

I have everything wired up and working. I got my window switch today and want to wire it in correctly. This is what i have.

2 orange wires to turn "on". One shows as grounded . Green is for the tach . I have a full wiring diagram that I did on my phone but I can't upload it and my internet is down at home.

which win switch is that? For example, the MSD has one wire that provides a ground output and one wire breaks the ground output when the window is active.

YES, one ORANGE to ground and the other to the RELAY PIN85.

According to the Mallory 646 Instructs, the two orange lines are connected internally when the window is active. You could always test this by lowering window and using an ohm/volt meter.

It's a Mallory 628. I could still test it the same way though.

Ok so I finished wiring in the rpm switch, tach and timing retard. I had it set for 8 cyl and it was doubling the rpm on and off. Set for on at 1000 off at 2000 it would come on at 1800 and off at 3600. So i set it for 4 cyl and it came on at 800 and off at 1800. So its about 200 rpm off consistently. I can deal with that. It is retarding the timing like it should I believe.

The arm switch is powered by switched ign in the fuse box. When I switch the car on the relay shows a ground for a half of a second or so then it goes away until the rpm switch initiates the ground within the set window. Is this normal?
