Finally got the car out....
I know this doesnt belong in this section but ... we got the car out Sat. for some test hits.
1st pass went 200' to make sure everything was working ok.
2nd pass rolled into it went to 330' and blew charge pipe off.
3rd pass went 1.21 60' and had to lift shortly after. Car drove to the right with the wheels up.
4th pass 1.23 60' ... 5.10 @ 143 mph
We have a few things to work on and should have it back out next weekend.
Thanks to everyone who helped us get this thing done and out racing !!

How is the tune-up looking are you guys treating it like a nitrous motor still?

We only know how to tune by plugs. Just like our last setup lean and mean. The plugs from those runs looked horrible. super rich ~ 12.0 and no timming. it had not even pulled the fuel off yet on the tip. super conservative on timing. we will lean it out and get fuel right then put timming in just like the nitrous stuff we have done.

I know you have got to be pumped after seeing those 60' numbers on such little boost.

I got a good feeling we will be seeing alot more posts like this as the fall air hits.
The nitrous setup would have gone 60s so i know the F1 will do it. Congrats Wayne and Steve!!!!
