Default Should I be concerned?? Blue flame

I have never personally seem this as I am always driving my car, but I am told in between shifts I get a blue flame out my exhaust. What could cause this? I have seen many cars run with N20 before and never seen the blue flame.

FYI running NOS 5177 125 jets
O2's are at about .91-.92
Car gets 18.5* timing while on the gas (0 KR)

The only way to get a flame outta the exhaust would be running rich or no cats. What mods do you have?

No cats
Hooker muffler
Cut out

.91 aint too bad is it? Should I try for .88? After all, I seem to only get 18.5* timing on the jug too..

I wouldnt go for the .88 range if your using the gas. I have mine set to run at ~.91x Its not that bad. Remember, is better to be rick than lean. The no cats is helping with the flame part. Theres nowhere for the excess to burn (cats) so the gases just go straight out the tailpipes.

I had a Mazda RX-7 that did that, after I took the cats off and gutted the mufflers, and it would split out blue flame out both exhausts on hard downshifts..it was pretty cool (for rice). To make a long story short I was getting fuel in my exhaust that caused the flame. I ran like that for years with no problems (on rice).

I hope that is some help.

BTW I cant confirm it but I think the blue flame ibn the exhaust also helped blow out all the baffling I destroyed with large metal stake in the muffler.

I am not sure what causes it but between no cats and the spray it is fairly common. PRO-MOD cars use lots and lots of n2o and they shoot a blue flame the whole way down the track. kinda cool...wonder if mine does that?!!??!!!
