Default Timing Tuner, does it work? Opinions wanted.

I have been looking into the Ramcharger timing tuner. How well does this unit work. In particular when advancing/retarding timing? Anyone with first hand expereince, please comment. I have been told a tuner that the unit is not raliable with timing control.
Thanks
Chris

I have a couple on customers cars, work great. You can add/sub base timing, and also retard timing on the nitrous hit.

I run one with my set up, works as advertised. You can not pick up the timing changes with a scan tool as it occurs after the pcm. Not sure about the accuracy of the timing changes. No problems at all with mine and an easy install too.

Does the new version 1.1 allow infinte RPM activation set points or can you only select from 5900 or 6400?

But you can still pick up if there's any detonation for example if you don't pull enough timing with it, and it runs lean?

I just got mine.
If I don't use the window switch feature(leave mode for minimum rpm on 0),
Does this mean that the maximum (5900-6300) feature won't work either?
I don't want the spray to kick off 6300.

You should have ordered the one that shuts off the nitrous at 7000rpm. I currently have that one myself. I must add that I am not using the window switch feature to turn on my nitrous. I am using the TT to just drop the timing. I have two MSD's that control when the nitrous comes on and goes off. One MSD for the first stage and another for the second stage.

So if I use the nitrous feature it will kick off at 6300 no matter what?

I have had 0 problems with mine and it wroks great everytime!! excellent product IMO... you can program the window switch for activation and shut off, delay, and timing both NA and on the spray.. again worth every penny in my book.
