Just get a WOT(wide open throttle switch), and a window switch. The WOT switch only lets the solonoid spray the nitrous when you are at full throttle, and the window switch will activate the nitrous between desired rpms(3000-5500)whatever you set it at. I wouldn't spray under 3000 rpm. You want the nitrous to turn off before you shift, because if you misshift while spraying, that could be the last moment for your engine.

You see, I am confused about all this....years ago in my 85 trans am...I had a little red button...I sprayed it at a certain RPM after my tires stopped spinning. Now at the track with traction you probably could run a WOT switch and a window switch, but you cant do it on the street. WOT in my car = spin....RPM goes sky high and then NOS would go off, no good.

I persoanlly will set up my system with a WOT switch connected in series to a little red button. Both need to be there for the NOS to flow. This way I dont have to whack it off the line if i spin and the RPM go way up. I have an auto.

If I had an M6 i would do the same...little red button on the shifter...WOT switch, both need to be on. Go until you stop spinning, push button, let off button and shift, back on button, off to shift, back on and so on. Makes sense to me, but then again I was using it 12 years ago....so to me I am not afraid of it.

If you can't go WOT without spinning then you need tires not nitrous. My SS dynoed 414RWHP through a custom 12 bolt with 4.10s and a Ram clutch. Sure I spin in first but when I slam second I can get traction as long as I don't power shift. I haven't run nitrous yet when I do though I am expecting 540RWHP and around 600-650RWTQ out of a 100 shot.

Mongoose....What about an A4?

I know I need tires, But i doubt that ties would help get that torque that nitrous makes to the ground.

With an A4 or a M6 you will need more then drag radials. I would go with slicks. I see alot of guys running 600-700 RWHP with slicks without any problems, but your 10 bolt will see problems <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> You could always use a progressive controller. At WOT it would allow nitrous to be sprayed in controlled amounts and for controlled times. For instance: launch at say 4000(you could spray 50hp shot for 2 seconds then 80hp for 3 seconds then 120hp- thats an example. I would check out the NX F.R.E.D. system.
