just wondering. i am trying to learn about the world of nitrous. can you get away with just a base type kit like the NX kit or do i have to go to the gen x kit? i only want to spray a 100 wet shot. thanks!

bottle heater is a way to get the pressure up if there isnt enough and the purge is a way to relieve pressure and to get the air out of the lines. if the bottle is in the spare well you might not need a heater but itd be a good idea. purge hits the tires harder than no purge too plus it looks cool <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> also if you keep the bottle somewhere that the sun can get to it you might have lean problems with no purge to relieve the pressure.

heater is good especially in winter, too low bottle pressure = less hp. purge is good but mainly for show. You can purge into motor if you have a button...not just WOT switch. without heater I used to run hot water over bottle untill pressure gets up.

both are more important with a wet system, particularly the heater so that you can maintain a consistant bottle pressure.
