Default which cylinder is the........

I just detonated # 6 piston 175 hp shot 75 on the first stage 100 on the second(nx 2stage wet).I have a walbro 340 intank and 61 psi at idle it never dropped below 55 psi. It burnt the tip off and I beleave the wrist pin sounds as if it was knocking everything looks ok the bottom of the piston is dark like it was hot enough to cook the oil and burn it on to the piston the other 7 are fine. any info would help alot thanks Rich

If number six is gone then its time to upgrade to a forged motor.

Is #6 the leanest cyl? I was wondering if the #6 injector could be going bad and leaned out just that one cyl. any input on this therory would be great. thanks Rich.

I would guess bad injector or uneven distribution.

I've seen two seprate forced induction motors melt #7 on ls1's,one was turbo/nos and the other was TNT 150 shot.

now that it is apart it didn't roast the piston just the tip of the plugbut it had a what I thought was going to be a collapsed ring or wrist pin knock. when I cancelled the spark to #6 it would quit knocking but it all looks ok. the motor only has 1200 miles on it. you can tell the #6 piston got pretty hot it burnt the oil on the inside of the piston it is now brown instead of silver. any ideas or input would help alot thanks Rich

Nitrous Express doesnt recommend over a 150 shot on a stock bottom end.The hyperutetic pistons just cant handle it.After a while it will break if you are spraying over 150 shot.
