I was wondering, being a fellow Long Islander (Hicksville), if you could give me some insight on choosing a nitrous kit for my 2000 Z28. My current mods include: FIPK intake, SLP 85mm Mass Air Sensor, MSD 8mm Superconductor wires, SLP Long Tube Headers with Random Tech Cats, and a Borla Cat Back exhaust. I am running stock internals as well as stock programing. I would like a small "kick" (75 shot?) to propel me into the mid to low twelves at the track without compromising longevity of the vehicle. I would like to keep this car a very long time. This is just a hobby, I don't want to go pro. I am inexperienced when it comes to this although I performed all of the mods myself. Can you help at all? Thanks. Do you go to any shows on LI? Bellmore on Fridays??

VenomSS is going to tell you to get the Venom 2000 or something like that. A NOS 5117 kit will do what you need, but im not to familar with how the FIPK is set up. It might not have a space to tap the nozzle in it. If all else fails you can hook up a NX or TNT wet kit to the car. Since they both go behind the mass air.

Thanks Wicked, I am replacing the FIPK with SLP's lid and Cold air kit. The FIPK is sucking in hot air from the engine bay. I am wondering if SLP's intake will support this kit? Anyway, I am doing my homework reading up on Nitrous and hopefully soon I will make a move. Thanks for your help! I need all I can get!! <img border="0" alt="[guns]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> WIMPORTS

Yea if your changing to the SLP lid it will work with the NOS setup. TNT also has a dry kit that people have been getting some power out of. You also might want to check the classified ads for a used lid. Not to sure how much the SLP cost but im sure you can get a used lid for 50 bux. Send me a PM if you have any questions.

You could use the Nitrous Express kit (wet). It has a double sided nut that holds the single fogger nozzle in.It goes between the Maff and Throttle Body.Life time warrenty solenoids and easy to follow instructions.Only 499.95 at NITROUS OUTLET---part number 20920----
Thanks
