Can i have an optimized n/a tune with HSW interface
My car was tuned 4 yrs ago by previous owner, and i feel the tune somehow is weak. It's only making 395/350ish tq.(mods on sig) I added a 75 shot pre-maf but don't want to risk it and want to have the car retuned to maximize the N/A tune and not having to run around on a nitrous tune, (which i think its the way it was tuned prior thus the reason it has low numbers) i bought a HSW interface from a member here and i'm thinkin about moving the dry nozzle post-maf and have Lashway retune the car. Is the HSW interface all i would need? i want to spray a 125 maybe a 150, what should i do? if i have to run on a nitrous tune i would just sell the interface then but i rather have a kickass all motor tune
I'm still learning on these and I've never ran a dry kit, so probably not a good source, but.
My tuner told me pretty much the only option was to go in and do the "IAT" mod on a switch to drop timing for spray. I do think the fueling would still need some tweaking though. BUT, I have a wet kit. I opted for the Lingenfelter LNC-2000 to pull timing. Probably going to go get it re tuned anyway.
Good Luck and keep us posted.

You can pull timing with the interface, but you can only pull so much. You dont want to got with too much more timing on the stock map because the interface wont be able to pull enough to compensate when spraying.
You can. When the nitrous is activated, the interface is going to register a shitload more air than it normally would if you were going WOT without the spray. Your tuner can pull timing out of that area (higher grams/cyl of air per rpm) of your timing tables and leave the rest optimized for NA. This is how i used my interface with a dry plate - it was perfect.
Like the guy above said, you can have it pull a few degrees by flipping a few switches also, but only if you have an unmolested IAT spark table (switches assume your tuner hasn't touched them).
