Question nos jets

going to the track this morning wondering if i should change my jetting, running a 150 shot wet plate system jets r 62/38 ,

I have 62/33 ,how much differents will this make in power and how much will this lean it up??? Thanks for any suggestions

It all depends on if you are rich or lean now. Ever car is different, if you are close to being spot on now it could possibly make you to lean and make less power. If you are rich now, it could lean you out and make more power. So its all relative to what you are at now. You would probably see somewhere around a .5 change in AFR with a jump from 38 to 33 on the fuel.

car is rich it ran great


.5 afr is there a approximate rule of thumb to go by, is 5 thousands = 5 afr ?

There is not real rule of thumb. for example if you were at 10.5 and changed jets you would probably be close to a 11.0
