Default Word of advice on blow offs on nitrous bottles

If you ever take yours off... when you put it back on torque it to 11-12 ft/lbs exactly... DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN

I've heard that if it's too tight it will blow early... like after 9lbs of gas... but that's just what I've heard

Also, if you dont clean the ring off the other burst cap that is left behind in the back of the threads, it will blow very easy.

Are you guys talking about the actual valve or the blow off tube? If the valve, WTF are you taking the valve off for?

I was disconnecting my blow off tube (I use an -8 connector and fuel line) and the valve loosened up. so I tightened it back down, heh

keymaster-
Some tracks require a blowdown hose, so if your bottle isn't equipped with an AN-threaded vent fitting, then you have to replace it.

The instructions from NX on installing the fitting and rupture disc are very detailed with lots of bold faced and underlined text.... mainly NEVER reuse a rupture disc (even on a brand new bottle like mine that had never been filled)....and use an accurate torque wrench when installing the fitting.

Should I have received an extra rupture disc?
