Default A few general install questions...

I am about to install the NOS 5177 kit this weekend on my 2000 M6...ok here I go...I plan to use the 75 shot and then venture to the 100 shot and go no further...
1) I just sold my Hypertech in route to LS1 edit...so I have stock rev limiter...my window switch will be in early this week...I am gonna use a 3000 on & 6000 off...is it safe with the 150 RPM window for now? Later I will have a 500 RPM window...
2) I will be using a single jet...I should use both selonoids for a pure safety issue correct? In case one gets stuck after WOT the other will close...
3) Should I "stealth it or sport it" under the hood? I will have to take it out on short notice if I ever need some "warranty" work done on the car...
Any other install tips would be great or is there anything I might be leaving out, let me know, thanx...
Last...if traction isn't an issue <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> what can I click off at the track...currently run 13.07@111 with a 2.1 60' on Kuhmo 18's...recently aquired a set of M/T DR's, that should help some <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Default Re: A few general install questions...

1) yes...that should be fine.

2) I would use both noids as the kit came, and you are correct..it is for safety purposes.

3) that is completely up to you. But if you are going to have to take it off at a moments notice..I would proceed with the install from that standpoint. Mount everything where its easily accesible for removal. Its a very simple kit...ecpecially if your using a single nozzle setup. Your mounting options are limitless.

Lastly...my guess is a 12.1 at 119 with the 100 shot. Youll need more traction <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
